WMF has always worked to spread innovation and accelerate the processes of Innovation and Digital Transformation in the country: first by engaging in the promotion of innovative ideas applied to the empowerment of the territory, and also by aiming through training and education to spread nationwide the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, involving cities, towns and small villages and working closely with local communities.

With the aim of reinforcing this path created over the years, which supports young people, businesses, associations, institutions, and realities on the territory, the WMF has opened the Call for Cities: the opportunity for cities, towns, and small towns to bring innovation to their communities by hosting one or more events of the WMF Italian Roadshow, contributing to the process of spreading innovation throughout Italy.

Born out of sharing and exchanging valuable knowledge and insights among people, businesses, startups, NPOs, and institutions in the innovation ecosystem, the Festival itself has produced over the years numerous events, with an innovative format bringing together multiple social players.
