WMF 2026 Guide

Read the essential information
to make the most of the event

Location and Hours: BolognaFiere / Bologna

  • Entrances: it will be possible to access the WMF using two entrances of BolognaFiere:
  • Accreditation: participant accreditation will begin from 08:30. It will then be possible to accredit throughout the day.
  • Info Point: this is the area to request information about the event. Here you will also find the speaker and press point.
  • Event Closing: the closing of the event is scheduled for 24/06 and for 25/06 at 8:00 PM,
    while for 26/06 at 7:00 PM with the concert by Sarah Toscano.
  • Premium Stage, Discover Stage and Open Stage: located in the fair area and indicated on the map.
  • Mainstage: the main WMF stage in Hall 29, active all three days during the time slots 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM / 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Fair Area: open from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM on June 24 and 25, from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM on June 26.
  • Lunch: Food Trucks will be active in the outdoor area all three days.
    Additionally, there will be bars and refreshment points inside BolognaFiere, indicated on the map.

Transportation

There are several ways and means of transportation to reach BolognaFiere.
You can come:
  • by train
  • by car
  • using the car and bike sharing service
  • by taxi
  • using bus lines 35 and 38 (from the station); lines 35 and 39 (back to the station); line 28 (from the city center).

Additionally, WMF offers discounts for participants thanks to its Mobility Partners including:
  • Corrente: you have a 10% discount that can be used up to 6 times with the same account, using the code WMF2026, valid for the entire duration of the event;
  • Auting: you have a 10% discount using the coupon WMF10AUTING, valid from 22/06 to 28/06;
We also suggest Wegoo, a peer-to-peer carpooling service that allows you to find passengers or offer a ride, sharing travel expenses to reach the Fair in an economic and sustainable way.

Parking

For those arriving by car, it will be possible to use the Michelino Parking: a paid multi-storey car park managed by BolognaFiere that can be easily reached by exiting the A14 Bologna-Taranto highway at the 'Bologna Fiera' exit.
From the parking lot, it will then be possible to reach the North Public Entrance - only a 5-minute walk - from which to access the event.

Accessibility

The fair is equipped to welcome visitors and exhibitors with disabilities: by taking exit no. 8 from the ring road, there are reserved parking spaces at the Piazza Costituzione entrance from where it will then be possible to enter the WMF.

wmf.ibrida.io

wmf.ibrida.io is the WMF offcial Web App through which you can organize your agenda and enhance the event experience.
To access, simply log in to wmf.ibrida.io with your WMF registration credentials.
The web app is used simultaneously by everyone attending the WMF and is already active. If you haven't done so yet, we recommend logging in to view your QR code: without it, you will not be able to enter the Fair.
Once your account is activated, you can use the web app from any device by saving it on your home screen and enabling notifications.

Within the WebApp you can:
  • View your QR Code: to enter the venue, you must scan your personal QR code to print your badge;
  • View the full event programme and save the sessions you wish to follow in the "My Agenda" section;
  • Exchange contact details with any WMF attendee via the “instant matching” by scanning the QR Code on their device;
  • Take advantage of the Digital Job Placement service to hold interviews during the event, matching via the platform and setting up appointments in the designated B2B meeting areas;
  • Connect with other attendees via one-to-one chats and meeting requests, booking tables within dedicated B2B areas;
  • Explore the list of Sponsors, Partners and Startups, and cast your vote to support the competing Startups;
  • Listen to simultaneous translations for selected stages;
    Access your Bologna Congress Card to redeem exclusive discounts on transport, hotels and venues across Bologna, allowing you to fully explore and experience the WMF host city!

Network

The WebApp offers multiple features to increase and facilitate networking opportunities among all WMF participants: attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, startups, and many other stakeholders.
In particular, you can use the instant matching easily and quickly by scanning the personal QR CODE of the person you want to exchange contacts with: you will immediately see the contact on the WebApp.
Furthermore, you will have the possibility to contact other participants through one-to-one chat and meeting requests, booking a table within one of the dedicated B2B areas.

Opening hours

The event will start every day at 08:30 with check-in. The days will end at 20:00 on June 24th and 25th, and at 19:00 on June 26th.
You can check in starting at 08:30 by going to one of the two entrances: Ingresso Nord or Ingresso Piazza Costituzione 3.
Simply scan your personal QR code to print your badge, which will grant you access to the areas included with your ticket.
The badge is strictly personal:
  • If you have a 3-Day Ticket, the badge will be valid for all three days. Make sure to bring it with you for the entire event.
  • If you have a 1-Day Ticket, it will only be valid for the selected day.
Please note: in case of loss, the badge cannot be reprinted — keep it safe!
We recommend arriving on time to avoid long lines and not to miss anything of the WMF, in particular, besides the stage speeches also the spectacular openings of the Mainstage:
  • on june 24th, at 09:30 the Opening Ceremony with the gipsy jazz of Patagarri;
  • on june 25th at 09:45, with the Live Performance of N.A.I.P.;
  • on june 26th at 10:00 with the Live Dj Set of Dardust which will open the third day of WMF!
It will still be possible to accredit yourself at any time during the day.
Remember to bring an identity document and the QR code, which you can always find inside the Web App!

After accessing and passing the controls, in the Mall, you will find the WMF info point where you can:
  • pick up a paper map;
  • ask for any information you need!

The Location

We remind you that the WMF takes place at BolognaFiere from June 24th to 26th, 2026, and can be accessed through two entrances:

Wi-Fi

A dedicated Wi-Fi network for participants will be available inside BolognaFiere; info on how to access it will be provided soon.

Charging Points

Inside BolognaFiere you will find several charging points indicated on the map.

Food

At WMF there will be a real Street Food Area: an outdoor zone between pavilions 21 and 29 with various Food Trucks throughout the three days of the event, allowing everyone to organize their lunch break or enjoy a snack at any time of the day.
The bars and refreshment points inside the fair are open all day. The location of bars and refreshment points is indicated on the map.

Restrooms

You can locate the restrooms inside the fair directly on the map.

Coat Check

At BolognaFiere, a coat check service will be active at the Costituzione entrance. We therefore recommend using this entrance if you need the service, and we remind you that the coat check is paid and managed by the BolognaFiere staff.

Mainstage

Access to the Mainstage is allowed only to holders of Full Ticket, Mainstage Ticket, Visitor Ticket.
Those who purchased these ticket types for only one day can access the Mainstage only on the chosen day.
All speeches, panels, and shows on the Mainstage will be translated in real-time into both Italian and English via the Web App.
Please bring your own earphones to listen to the simultaneous translation directly from your smartphone.
Those who purchased the Fair Ticket (1 or 3 days) do not have access to the Mainstage.

Prmeium Stage

Access to the Premium Stage, which is reserved for Full Ticket (both 3-Day and 1-Day) holders only, will require showing the badge at the stage entrance to verify access. Some of these stages operate in Silent Mode: you can follow the speeches in a completely immersive way using wireless headphones available directly inside the room.
To ensure a smooth and orderly flow of attendees into the rooms, please fill up all available seats starting from the center sections of the front rows.

Discover Stage

Accessible to: Full Ticket and Visitor Ticket holders.
The Discover Stages are dedicated to business talks, startup pitches, institutional panels and corporate or content creator solutions.

Open stages

Accessible to: All Ticket categories.
The Open Stages are educational and informational stages spread across the various exhibition halls of BolognaFiere.

Multilingual Translation

We have updated the event schedule for an optimized experience of the moments and sessions taking place during the three days. From now on, by applying filters in the Web App, you can check which of our 9 dedicated stages feature real-time simultaneous translation powered by Interpretify. This AI system allows you to listen to talks in several languages, including English, Spanish, and Arabic.
Remember to bring your own earphones.

Exhibition Area

The Exhibition Area is open from 08:30 AM to 20:00 PM on June 24th and 25th and from 08:30 AM to 19:00 PM on the final day, June 26th.
The expo area hosts over 800 exhibitors, thematic districts, international pavilions, B2B areas, live tech shows, eSports, cinema and a startup area showcasing live presentations of the latest tech innovations.
Access is open to all Ticket categories.

Digital Job Placement

During the event, it will be possible, via the platform wmf.ibrida.io, to schedule job interviews.
Interviews can take place in dedicated areas that you will find indicated on the printed floor plan.

Don't miss the WMF Music Festival and discover the artists performing on the Mainstage over the three days!

Every day features live performances both on the Mainstage, with artists like Dardust, Ditonellapiaga, Valerio Lundini, I Patagarri, N.A.I.P. and Francesco Cavestri, and across the Exhibition Area on the stage dedicated to emerging bands selected by the WMF contest.
You can access the Mainstage concerts only with a Full, Visitor or Mainstage Ticket.

JUNE 24

On June 24th, the Music Fest officially opens the dances at 09:30 with the Opening Ceremony with Patagarri, who inaugurate the event with the stage of their European tour "L'ultima ruota del caravan".
In the afternoon, after the resumption of work on the Mainstage, the music starts again at 15:45 with the concert of Francesco Cavestri, "The Essence of Beauty", a set that blends contemporary jazz, electronic music and technological innovation.

JUNE 25

On June 25th, you will be able to attend a series of unmissable live appointments. It starts at 09:45 with the experimental concert of N.A.I.P., a live show that combines electronics, loop station and pop.
Following, at 10:40, it will be the moment of the Guest of Honor Mathew Knowles: the entrepreneur, producer and international manager behind the global success of Beyoncé and Destiny's Child will hold a highly anticipated exceptional intervention.
In the afternoon, at 16:00, space for the energy of Valerio Lundini & I VazzaNikki with their concert-show "SU... MMER WITH US", an overwhelming set that combines rock 'n' roll, swing, cabaret and moments of theatrical improvisation.

JUNE 26

On June 26th, the protagonist of the morning will be Dardust: at 10:00 the artist will bring to the stage a stage of his tour "Urban Impressionism", an immersive live show capable of blending neoclassical piano and contemporary electronic music.
Following in the afternoon, at 18:30 on the Mainstage, the official closing of the festival will be entrusted to the concert of Ditonellapiaga: an unmissable appointment with her eclectic pop, her energy and her sweeping rhythms, in her unique and highly anticipated summer date in Bologna.

Tech Live Performances

This year, the exhibition area transforms into a stage for pure innovation where you can watch live tech demonstrations.
Access to these events is open to all participants.
  • Jet Suit Flight Display - The Flying Man
On June 24th and 25th at 13:00 PM in the External Area (Ingresso Nord) of BolognaFiere, you can watch the Jet Suit Flight Display by Gravity: a spectacular human flight demonstration powered by turbine propulsion.
  • Drone Soccer Championship and Test Area
From June 24th to 26th, between 09:00 AM and 19:00 PM, the fair will host the 1st European Drone Soccer Championship for the very first time in Italy. This innovative sport discipline will see over 20 teams from 7 different countries (including France, Turkey, Romania and Morocco) face off.
In the same area, you can try out drone soccer yourself thanks to a dedicated flight test field open to all participants.
  • Drone Light Show
On June 25th at 21:15 PM, enjoy the Drone Light Show curated by Allumee. Thousands of perfectly synchronized drones will take flight simultaneously to create a three-dimensional light choreography.

Music, networking, and entertainment: it’s the WMF party

Wednesday, June 24th, starting from 22:00, the WMF community moves to the heart of Bologna's city center, in the splendid setting of Palazzo Re Enzo, for the historic evening dedicated to the community.
It will be a valuable opportunity to encourage discussion among professionals, startups, investors, speakers and participants in an informal, stimulating context, perfect for creating new connections.
The heart of the evening will be the exclusive '90s DJ Set with Pau (historic frontman of Negrita), to dance, network and experience the energy of WMF until late at night.
