Training - Exhibition Area - Recruitment

On June 4, 5, and 6, 2025, at BolognaFiere - Koders Fest returns with training and networking events and initiatives, dedicated exhibition areas, and recruitment services for coders, system administrators, and cloud experts.

In times of transformation like these, technical reference figures are even more the foundation of a robust and healthy innovation journey: at WMF, it will be possible to meet experts from all over the world, from frontend coding and UI/UX to issues related to backend development and cloud engineering.

Training will be at the heart of Koders Fest: in stages dedicated to Cybersecurity, Front-end Coding, Backend & Cloud, Machine Learning, and UX & UI, attendees will have the opportunity to hear presentations from Maximiliano Flirtman, Paolo Insogna, a Node.js TSC Member, Alessandro Vozza, and many other experts.

There will also be ample opportunities for networking and digital job placement, in addition to exhibition areas dedicated to the most advanced technological solutions in cloud, hosting, and tools.

The AI Ethics & Innovation Stage at WMF 2025 hosted the official launch of Rethic.AI, the first Italian business network dedicated exclusively to promoting ethical, safe, and responsible AI.
During the morning session, the network’s goals, founding members, initial participating companies, and the visions of its Ethical Board were presented, along with a discussion on the current state of the art, challenges, and ethical opportunities in an era of industrial transformation accelerated by AI.
In the afternoon, we explored the network’s first research working groups focused on creating innovative frameworks to provide practical support for Italian companies. This was followed by success stories directly from market-leading companies, sharing how they are integrating ethics into their AI processes, products, and strategies with a focus on sustainable and responsible business.

Today, training and inference at scale are constrained as much by memory limitations as by compute. The financial implications are staggering: High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM) now costs nearly as much as compute, and memory bandwidth is one of the leading constraints in large-scale AI deployments. The infrastructure of tomorrow must be designed with memory as a first-class consideration. This keynote explores the increasing role of memory in AI workloads, real-world examples of memory bottlenecks, and strategies for designing AI infrastructure that balances compute and memory effectively.

Cloudicante: Il sogno del cloud sta zoppicando su costi e sicurezza

Negli ultimi anni il cloud ha registrato una crescita significativa, spingendo sempre più aziende a migrare i propri servizi. Tuttavia, molte di queste adottano un approccio "lift & shift", replicando l’on-prem nel cloud senza una vera ottimizzazione. Questo porta a infrastrutture poco efficienti, costi elevati e un utilizzo limitato delle tecnologie cloud-native. Un altro aspetto critico è la sicurezza: spesso si considera il cloud come un’entità separata, trascurando il modello di responsabilità condivisa definito dai provider. Mostra la costruzione di design system accessibili token‑first, capaci di tradurre i valori del brand in componenti atomici e schemi colore (dark e light con supporto a temi con accent color), come partire da solide fondamenta creando uno UI Kit minimalista (sulla scia di librerie come Pico.css e Water.css) per ottenere interfacce eleganti con quasi nessuna classe CSS e sfruttando al massimo Semantic HTML, favorendo accessibilità e SEO. Alla fine avremo una struttura coesa e future‑proof: partire dal minimalismo, aggiungere layer, esporre API e rimanere accessibili, lasciando che il browser, e  CSS, svolgano il lavoro più pesante; che si stia lavorando a un side project o a un prodotto enterprise.

AI is rapidly transitioning from a future concept to a mainstream reality, fundamentally changing how we live, work, and connect. My work with AI at Google gives me a firsthand view of this major shift. Yet, my grasp of its profound effects is also deeply influenced by my personal quest for a more meaningful life, which encompasses Zen as well as the grounding practices of music, movement, and meditation. Through my integrated practice of presence and self-awareness – a transformative journey that empowered me to overcome many internal battles – I ultimately came to understand their crucial importance, a realization that speaks to a key challenge of our time: As screens and algorithms increasingly shape our realities, how do we stay anchored in ourselves and actively nurture our wellbeing? And as AI becomes an ever-growing part of our world, what fundamental ethical guidelines should steer this powerful technology to ensure it enhances, rather than diminishes, our human experience This isn't a talk about fearing AI; it's about gaining a clear-eyed perspective. We need to see AI for what it is: a powerful technology built on probabilistic models, essentially a mirror reflecting our own cognitive frameworks and, at times, our cognitive biases. To better understand this dynamic, I've been exploring insights from seemingly different domains: the age-old wisdom of Buddhism and the counterintuitive principles of quantum physics. Both, in their own way, offer perspectives on interconnectedness and the dynamic nature of reality – concepts that I believe have surprising relevance to our relationship with AI.  Ultimately, this isn't just a technical discussion. It's a human one. It's about how we find our footing, our sense of balance, a kind of "Zen"  in this rapidly evolving AI landscape. It's about fostering intentionality and presence so that these technologies truly serve to enhance our well-being, rather than inadvertently diminishing our sense of self. Let's explore how we can navigate this future with a combination of informed curiosity and a strong connection to our authentic selves, guiding our way ethically in the future of AI.
