Building Revenue Engines for Impact: from Mission to Measurable Growth
Mission-driven organizations rarely fail for a lack of vision. They fail for a lack of structure in growth. After more than 15 years between international corporates and non-profits, building teams that have generated millions of euros for environmental and social projects, I have learned that impact is not scaled with enthusiasm, but with architecture: clear objectives, defined roles, sales and fundraising systems, strategic partnerships, and results-oriented leadership. In this session, I will share the practical framework I use to transform mission into sustainable growth, without compromising identity and credibility. We will talk about revenue engines, corporate partnerships, team organization, and the main mistakes that block impact-driven entities when they try to grow. This is not a motivational talk. It is an operational method for those who truly want to scale.

AI: Scaling from (linguistic) models to (economic) markets
The real challenge for businesses in the future will be to shift from model training to market design, from focusing on the engineering and "agency" capabilities of the linguistic model itself to the organizational complexity of the "instituting" assembly that instantiates and enhances it. This shift from "models" to "markets," however, will require a cultural and strategic innovation effort, a radical shift in the paradigms of value co-creation between automation, amplification, and coordination.

Teenagers, AI Chatbots, and Mental Health: Risks and New Perspectives
Globally, an increasing number of teenagers are using AI chatbots to seek mental health support. The risk, however, is that these tools may be perceived as perfect, real-time "substitutes" for professionals. This raises significant concerns, especially when chatbots provide advice that lacks medical-scientific foundations or is potentially harmful, without possessing a genuine understanding of the teenager's life experiences or fragile state.

From artificial intelligence to hybrid intelligence: new ideas for better interaction with AI Technologies
We live alongside machines that write, suggest, diagnose, and make decisions with us. But the real question is not how intelligent these systems are: it is what we become when we learn to use them at their best. Focusing on how to design better hybrid intelligence encourages us to move beyond both enthusiasm and fear, and allows us to understand how to build more lucid and responsible collaborative relationships between people and the technologies they use to work, stay informed, and create value.

The synthetic truth: trust, deepfakes, and the future of information in the age of AI
Deepfakes are redefining the boundary between what is real and what is false. Through a study on users’ reactions to AI-generated content distributed by sources perceived as trustworthy, we will explore how trust is built in the age of synthetic media. Even when flagged, deepfakes are often misunderstood or ignored, amid polarized emotions and limited critical awareness. What happens to truth when everything can be generated?

Using AI towards new medical breakthroughs: Building the (virtual) cell
The quest to extend human healthspan and decode the biological mechanisms of aging is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by an inflection point in artificial intelligence. We are transitioning from a slow, observational approach in longevity science to a highly predictive, generative paradigm. I will explore how the convergence of advanced AI architectures and massive biological datasets is not just accelerating discovery, but fundamentally altering our approach to aging, cellular senescence, and age-related disease. At the foundation of this revolution are groundbreaking advances in biomolecular modeling and structural prediction. When coupled with emerging, purpose-built foundation models for biology and medicine, researchers are gaining the ability to decode intricate epigenetic and proteomic signatures. This enables the rational design of novel geroprotectors, targeted therapeutics, and highly personalized interventions with unprecedented speed and precision. However, the next frontier in longevity medicine lies in the transition from static structural mapping to dynamic biological simulation. The development of "world models" for biology and fully realized "virtual cells" represents a paradigm shift for the field. By simulating complex cellular behaviors and tissue-level interactions in silico, these dynamic models allow us to safely and rapidly test millions of potential anti-aging interventions. They enable researchers to predict complex systemic responses, model the long-term cascade of cellular aging, and evaluate multi-drug regimens without the immediate need for decades-long clinical trials.

AI & Business Transformation
From Digital Transformation to AI Transformation
Most organizations are still running digital transformation programs inside an operating model built for human limitations. They made existing processes faster and more visible, but the underlying structure - siloed roles, narrow specialization, and fragmented decision-making - remained largely unchanged.AI transformation is different. It doesn’t just accelerate work; it removes the constraints that made the old model necessary. When systems can hold and connect knowledge across domains that no human can master simultaneously, the old boundaries between functions and disciplines start to lose their purpose. Execution can be handled by agents. Human work shifts toward orchestration, judgment, and defining outcomes rather than performing tasks. This is not an efficiency story. It is an architectural one. Organizations that continue using AI primarily to reduce headcount or speed up existing processes will stay trapped in the logic of the past. Those that redesign how work is structured around what AI can now do will move from an economy of reduction to one of creation -discovering new possibilities instead of simply optimizing what already exists. The real transformation begins when leaders stop asking how AI can improve the current model, and start asking what the model should become.

Responsible, Inclusive, Viable: Rethinking AI for a Sustainable Future
The current trajectory of AI is increasingly unsustainable -- the growing computational demands of AI systems carry significant environmental impacts, the deployment of AI can reinforce and amplify existing inequities, and the escalating costs of developing and maintaining large-scale AI models raise concerns about long-term viability and equitable access. Together, these challenges suggest the need to rethink how we design, build, and deploy AI systems—prioritizing broader sustainability considerations to ensure that future AI innovation is responsible, inclusive, and viable over the long term.

From Vision to Reality: How Digital Health Became the Present
In this keynote, Roberto Ascione explores the evolution of a vision that, over three decades, has helped transform digital health as we know it today. Drawing on the ideas presented in his book “The Future of Health”, he unpacks how the belief that digital technology could make care more accessible, sustainable, and human became a roadmap for innovation. With AI now accelerating every dimension of healthcare, from clinical decision support to patient engagement, from drug discovery to digital therapeutics, the keynote offers a clear perspective on how this transformation has taken shape over time. He shares lessons on which visionary ideas endured, how course corrections proved necessary, and why the most human ambitions, such as empowering patients, restoring the doctor patient relationship, and democratizing access, have proven the most durable. This is not a keynote about what’s coming. It’s the story of what has already arrived and what it took to get here.

Your business is not your own. How to defend yourself against the power of platforms that can shut down an SME with a single click.
Small and medium-sized enterprises operate within digital ecosystems they do not control, developing a tangible dependency on major platforms over time. This presentation analyzes this structural dependency and the resulting power imbalance. Sudden account closures, withheld funds, opaque algorithms, and unanswered complaints produce immediate effects on turnover and business continuity. Hence, the examination of applicable regulations, their level of implementation, and the protective instruments currently available. A pragmatic intervention for those seeking to protect their business before someone else decides whether it may continue to exist.

The Pink Tax: The Price of "Tech for Her"
Why does a splash of rose gold often cost an extra 20%? From pastel laptops to "feminine" smartwatches, tech marketed to women frequently carries a steeper price tag without any boost in technical specs. How does the "Pink Tax" manifest in the digital age, and in what ways do superficial aesthetic shifts mask price gouging? What is the psychology behind gendered branding, and why should "shrinking and pinking" a gadget result in a premium? This session explores how we can demand equity in both hardware and the price tag.

Reclaiming Our Shared Humanity: Navigating Global Fragility Through Dialogue, Dignity, and Collective Responsibility
In an era where international law is increasingly undermined, multilateral trust is eroding, and power rivalries threaten global stability, the very fabric of our shared humanity is being tested. Dr. Siyabulela Mandela’s keynote explores how today’s fractured world can rediscover its moral compass by re-centering diplomacy on empathy, justice, and mutual respect. Drawing from the legacies of peacebuilding and the enduring wisdom that liberty and humanity are inseparable, this address calls for a renewed commitment to bridge divides between North and South, state and citizen, progress and principle. Through a lens of diplomacy, human rights, and humanitarian action, Dr. Mandela will illuminate how inclusive dialogue and collective responsibility can reshape the international system, not merely to manage crises, but to transform fragility into an opportunity for lasting peace, shared prosperity, and restored global trust.

Generative AI and Medicine: Let’s Set the Record Straight
With the release of ChatGPT and other generative artificial intelligence platforms, more and more people are turning to these systems for health-related answers. This phenomenon is set to grow with the launch of tools such as ChatGPT Health. However, scientific evidence suggests that it is crucial to use these technologies with caution and only within specific, controlled contexts. This session aims to clarify these aspects and provide a clearer perspective.

Fractured Reality
From human empathy to tech empathy: it has been a short step. New intelligences are all around us, and communication is becoming artificial. In other words, AIs are increasingly becoming true partners in communication and sense-making processes—both at work and in our personal lives. What are the new challenges on the horizon in a context where AI is increasingly becoming our "dialogue buddy"? What mindset must we refine to develop a dynamic of collaborAItion and the co-creation of value? A moment to reflect on how to communicate effectively (and stay human) in an augmented world.

The Agentic Enterprise: How Our Work Will Evolve in an Application Example
In the near future, organizations will radically alter their structure, with work teams hybridizing human personnel and AI agents. We shall observe how a real-world company is constructing its agentic team, what its "human" labor pyramid will entail, and which modes of interaction will be implemented, as well as how these will impact the company’s physical spaces. Finally, we will examine the potential psychological impact of labor heavily oriented toward interaction with "people-pleaser" AI Chats and autonomous agents of low empathy, sharing the guidelines and critical considerations raised by an AI-native company currently achieving this operational modality.

The Human Factor. Non-replaceable Competencies in the Age of AI
As AI becomes more capable, human expertise becomes even more decisive. The AI Act makes literacy a mandatory requirement, but its true value lies elsewhere: it is the bridge to building an organization where AI roles and responsibilities are shared across all stakeholders—both internal and external. This session outlines a roadmap to transform knowledge into operational governance, ensuring that artificial intelligence remains a tool at the service of people.

Modera: Lorenzo Salmi

Reprogramming Work in the Age of AI: Between Synthetic Collaborators, Epistemic Crisis, and New Meta-Skills
AI is redefining the way we work: 6 out of 10 individuals already perceive it as a collaborator. Phenomena such as sycophancy, epistemic relativism, and linguistic shifts demonstrate the extent of our exposure to new cognitive fragilities. Drawing upon data collected from 12,000 individuals and a global training program, I propose a framework to develop meta-skills, reflexivity, and critical capacity to maintain clarity and autonomy in the age of AI.

Minors, social media, and AI: what companies and digital professionals must do today to ensure compliance.
The utilization of Artificial Intelligence, recommendation algorithms, and automated systems within social networks and digital platforms has rendered the protection of minors one of the most critical areas for companies, agencies, and digital professionals. This keynote offers a clear and updated overview of European and national regulatory obligations (DSA, GDPR, AI Act, and guidelines on online child protection), with particular focus on liability profiles related to profiling, automated moderation, age verification, and AI-generated content. The speech is designed to provide practical tools based on concrete cases: risk assessment criteria, examples, and operational guidance useful for designing compliant, sustainable digital products, campaigns, and services oriented toward the protection of younger users.

The Power of Soft Skills: Recruiting Future-Ready Technical Talent
In recruitment, the real challenge is no longer just finding technical expertise, but identifying individuals who can apply it with effectiveness, collaboration, and innovation. Today, soft skills have become the decisive factor for technical profiles. This session analyzes which soft skills are indispensable and how to evaluate them concretely: from the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and priorities without losing productivity, to the emotional intelligence required to collaborate in cross-functional teams and manage feedback or conflict. We will explore how to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders, present solutions persuasively, and leverage critical thinking to tackle challenges creatively. Through practical examples, we will demonstrate the impact of these skills on technical team performance and overall recruiting success.

AI-Enhanced Threat Modeling: How to Reduce the Cognitive Load of a Security Architect Without Relinquishing Control
This talk presents the blueprint of a system based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and LLMs designed to accelerate threat modeling activities. The objective is to create a "cybersec tactical droid" that assists the security architect by processing large volumes of input—such as documentation, configurations, diagrams, and code—transforming them into an evidence map. Utilizing a predefined set of questions or "investigative rules" (STRIDE/PASTA/DREAD) mapped to NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks, the assistant proposes the queries most pertinent to the context represented by the ingested documentation. Depending on the operational mode, the security architect may choose to utilize the question list in a traditional investigative manner or delegate the generation and autonomous execution of investigative prompts to the cybersec tactical droid. Fortunately, the Death Star engineers lacked this droid model; otherwise, they would have identified a small thermal exhaust port leading directly to the reactor core.

In Praise of (Ab)normality
"You are not normal" is a phrase that almost everyone has heard at least once in their life, and certainly not as a compliment. But is it always true that it’s better to be "normal"? Above all, what does "normal" actually mean, and why is this adjective often used as a sort of club to marginalize those who don't fit certain models?

Non-Profit
The nonprofit sector represents a vast and underutilized market: how to penetrate it through effective partnerships.
The nonprofit sector is a massive market, yet remains largely untapped by the profit-driven world: the objective is not merely "charity," but the creation of authentic value. In this presentation, I will demonstrate why it is currently advantageous for companies to collaborate with nonprofit organizations and how to do so without descending into superficial Corporate Social Responsibility. We will examine partnership models, measurable objectives, common pitfalls (which erode both reputation and budget), and an operational checklist for initiating credible, purposeful, and sustainable collaborations.

Fragmentation > Frustration > Solution: Moving Toward Integrated Care
Digital health is growing fast, but instead of simplifying access, it has often increased fragmentation and complexity. AI Health risks amplifying this chaos if we don't fix the underlying issue: the lack of integration and a shared language across the healthcare system. This session explores the evolution from Digital Health to AI Health, highlighting its limits and opportunities. Through the Salute360 case study, we will see how to unify services, professionals, and patients into a single, accessible, and seamless experience.

Modera: Antonio Palmieri

Why AI for Product Teams Needs to Be Multiplayer
AI has transformed what one person can do. But building great products has never been a solo sport. In this talk, Dave Ross explores how product teams are adapting — moving from fragmented AI usage to collaborative, agent-powered workflows. Using real examples from Miro, he’ll show how teams are rethinking how they work, build, and learn together. And why, despite all the change, the fundamentals still win: strong culture, good judgement, and the environments that help teams learn faster — from hackathons to Fail Nights, and the informal moments where the best ideas often emerge

Charity Streaming: Live Broadcasting Between Entertainment and Solidarity
Charity streaming is a form of live online broadcasting that blends entertainment with awareness for social causes. Today, this solidarity-driven live experience represents the intersection of the creator economy and civic engagement. Fondazione AIFR analyzes this tool as a process of value co-creation capable of generating cross-cutting benefits: a leverage for positioning and trust for the creator, a channel to acquire new young supporters for non-profits, and an engaging awareness experience for communities. We will explore how to convert attention into social impact through real-world case studies.

Training with AI: how conversational simulators are truly transforming learning.
What happens when we use AI to truly train people on real work situations? In this session, we’ll explore how conversational simulators and AI tutors are transforming learning from content to be consumed into experiences to be lived: managers practicing difficult feedback conversations, sales teams handling complex negotiations, and operators navigating critical situations in a safe environment. Through real cases and practical examples, we will examine: how to design learning experiences based on simulation and dialogue; what measurable impact they generate on performance, engagement, and on-the-job transfer; and how AI is radically reshaping the role of training—from content delivery to the design of practice environments. We will also look at what is already working in organizations today, the results being achieved, and what, in the coming months, will change the way learning is designed and experienced.
