A significant area will also be allocated to the iconic Sonic, featuring a dedicated station celebrating his inaugural appearance on gaming consoles!

At WMF, we will explore the beginnings of video games: an engaging journey from the initial prototypes of the '60s to contemporary video games featuring consoles, games, and unique artifacts on display! Additionally, the official audio guide is available, which has been with us throughout 70 years of video game history!

EFLYKE is the Italian-manufactured flying motorcycle that transforms the realm of safe sport aviation. Innovative design, complete freedom, and pure adrenaline combine to create a one-of-a-kind flight experience: explore it at WMF!

One Love Machine, a band composed entirely of robots constructed from recycled metal materials, showcased a music technology performance at the Exhibition.

By placing your hand on the Extraceleste, the statue will detect your heartbeat and trigger sensors that will adjust the brightness of its light. This sensor system has been developed by Nature 4.0, the latest venture of scientist and Nobel Prize Roberto Valentini. The robotic sculpture offers poems to the public, created by AI through a partnership with Luca Andrea Marazzini.

Extraceleste is a significant installation conceived by Marco Nereo Rotelli, formed by repurposing a satellite antenna at the ELITAL facility, which is the primary sponsor of the project. This creation is a poetic and radiant robot that merges art, science, and spirituality, providing poems that are generated in real-time through artificial intelligence developed in collaboration with technology partner OMAI.cloud.

At the Exhibition, Vero Volley has set up a real volleyball court: an opportunity to have fun with friends and colleagues and create new connections.

Participants had the opportunity to engage in activities using headsets at the Vero Volley desk, allowing them to enjoy an immersive and innovative experience.

One will have the opportunity to closely observe the prototypes created for international competitions, such as the Solar Challenge and the Rocket Challenge, which have been designed and developed by students under the guidance of faculty members from the Department who are engaged in relevant fields. These initiatives are focused on addressing contemporary technological challenges, including minimizing environmental impact, utilizing renewable energy, and employing sustainable materials and processes.

Participants will have the opportunity to personally experience the driving capabilities of various prototypes of two- to four-wheeled competition vehicles. This initiative seeks to involve a progressively expanding audience to enhance awareness of the endeavors undertaken by educators, researchers, and students at the Alma Mater Studiorum.

Educators, particularly students from Unibo, will actively demonstrate the fundamental principles of physics that form the basis of vehicle technologies, encompassing both design and construction. Each project undertaken includes collaboration with several prominent industry partners, including Ducati and Lamborghini.
