What remains for citizens when their future is "predicted" by complex socio-technical systems? These questions force us to move towards a new culture: one of responsibility. To ensure that technological innovation is accompanied by social innovation and our societies have reliable infrastructures, it is necessary to supervise and evaluate these processes.
