Piero Dominici (PhD), Awarded Title of Full Professor,World- leading social scientist and systems thinker, is Scientific Director of CHAOS (2011). Among his numerous international appointments, he is a UNESCO IPL Expert and Official Delegate to UNESCO. Executive President of the Board of Directors of the International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI), he is Fellow of the World Academy of Art & Science (WAAS), of the Complex Systems Society and a UN Invited Speaker and Expert.
He is the author of numerous research articles, nine monographs and over 200 essays and international scientific publications; over the last thirty years, he has worked in the fields of complexity, complex adaptive systems and higher education, focusing on the epistemology and methodology of research, paradigm shifts in science, innovation and transdisciplinarity.
