Lucka Bibic

Springer Nature
Dr. Lučka Bibič spent four years milking tarantulas to understand chronic pain. Then she built ventures, led product at scale, and ended up running global pipeline strategy at Springer Nature where she navigates how AI transforms knowledge workflows across 3,000 journals.

She's been called Spiderwoman, PhD. Mountain ultramarathon runner. TEDx speaker. She has published on leadership in Science magazine, produced BBC Radio shows on science communication, and reached over one million people through her science communication platforms. She was selected to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, was a finalist for the Women in Tech Global Product Leadership Award, and has won the UK National Entrepreneurship Award and Springer Nature's Inspirational Leadership Award.

She's learned that the judgment in the age of AI doesn't come from expertise alone. It comes from leaders who integrate their contradictions - the scientist and the storyteller, the analyst and the intuitive, the specialist and the leader. That integration is what she leads with, writes about, and speaks on.
