Marco Pietrucci

Marco, born in 1987, has always been committed to developing technologies to support a greener and more sustainable energy system. With a degree in Electronic Engineering, he was among the first in Italy to acquire and develop expertise in energy storage systems. After consolidating his expertise in stationary systems, he initiated studies on the use of electric vehicles to support the power grid, resulting in the first experiments with Vehicle-to-Grid technology in Italy. As the head of the Innovation department, Marco has contributed to evolving Terna’s innovation model by fostering an open approach to new partnerships and opportunities through international tech scouting and venture clienting channels. Additionally, he played a key role in establishing Terna Venture Capital subsidary
