Anna Caponi

I’m a Researcher in Experience and Interaction Design at the University of Siena. My focal point is the design of products and services for Renewable Energy Communities to enable new distributed energy systems, autonomous but interconnected, in order to improve the quality of life and the entire ecosystem’s - people, environment and animals - wellbeing.
Beside the university journey, I’m working as a UX/UI designer at Insula Net, a start-up social enterprise based in Milan. Here the goal is to redesign the concept of life in apartment buildings through a smart, sustainable and inclusive management system, enhancing relationships between co-owners and energy performance of buildings.
Ricercatrice presso il Laboratorio di Interaction Design dell'Università di Siena. Specializzata in Experience Design, si occupa di progettare prodotti e servizi per le Comunità Energetiche Rinnovabili (CER) e per l'efficientamento energetico. Segue un approccio sistemico per ideare soluzioni capaci di soddisfare le esigenze dei vari soggetti per cui progetta, facendo dialogare fattori ambientali, sociali, economici e tecnici. Collabora con Insula net (Cooperativa Impresa Sociale di Milano) e Confagricoltura Siena.
