Anatola Araba

Having recently made history by having her art sent to the Moon on a NASA mission, Anatola is an artist, futurist, and award-winning filmmaker who pushes the boundaries of storytelling by fusing art and technology.
Raised in the heart of New York City, Anatola graduated from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. She is on a mission to inform, inspire, and reimagine the future, one story at a time.
Her most recent award-winning film, Afro Algorithms, is a 3D animated short in the Afrofuturist genre that explores the topics of artificial intelligence and bias. The project screened across the globe and was sent to the Moon by Space Blue as a part of NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) initiative.
As the founder of Reimagine Story Lab, Anatola is pioneering a new era of diverse and world-class immersive experiences by directing a cutting edge virtual museum on a mission to imagine and catalyze a sustainable future.
Anatola’s films and interdisciplinary artworks have exhibited at leading-edge institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Lincoln Center, Art Basel, the Museum of Moving Images, and more.
She has partnered with the likes of Snapchat, Google, and Mozilla to tell innovative stories. She has created editorial and video content for renowned publications including ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan.With the mantra that “imagination is the greatest tool of humanity,” her passion is to use the power of creativity to build a more sustainable, equitable, and innovative future.
