I'm very often the "last mile" guy, the accountable one who gets things done. My professional life is split into two parts. The first one as ICT/TLC engineer working for many big corporations like Northrop Grumman, Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE. Here I've build up a solid knowledge of designing, planning, implementing and managing Country size fiber optics and smart city networks. I had the chance to grow up from technical director to sales technical manager, with a portfolio of about 15M€.
Then, from 2014, I strongly focused on freelance consulting about lean startup and business development, becoming a professional in the Platform Design (of innovative ecosystem business models) starting to contribute to the Platform Design Toolkit open source framework and, also, a startupper in climate tech.
The journey to lean thinking and to entrepreneurship eventually led to the co-foundation in 2018 of Boundaryless, the company behind the Platform Design Toolkit, the world-leading most actionable methodology to design platforms and ecosystems strategies, nurturing the new mindset necessary to look at the complexity of interdependent systems. Currently I'm responsible for the Platform business model design unit, complemented by the other company branch that focuses on designing great ecosystem organizations, the 3EO method derived from Haier's Rendanheyi.
Passionate about teaching and continuous learning, tuning technological strategy and vision, lean startup, smart city, smart mobility, innovation hubs and ecosystem driven innovation. Well-known entrepreneurship mentor and consultant. Expert in digital transformation and emerging technologies (AI and DLT).
