Format Matters – Storytelling Beyond Content
Today, storytelling is no longer just about content, but above all about format. Winners are those who create the most engaging formats, which requires creativity, knowledge of social platforms, and storytelling skills. Communication is increasingly intertwined with entertainment, which is why it’s essential to know how to craft formats for brands. Formats that enhance the brand’s proposition and engage audiences like a TV series, a song, or an entertainment talk. This talk will cover how video podcasts for brands are born, companies bringing their formats live (for example, in theaters), storytelling in-store or outside stadiums (like Heinz). It will also explore events, books created to tell a company’s story, and UGC campaigns involving creators and brands. After looking at early examples—did you know “Funiculì Funiculà” was one of the first branded content pieces in history?—we’ll examine case studies that revolutionized seemingly unchangeable sectors (Kings League transformed football, Fantasanremo introduced gamification to music) and learn how to write a format, from idea to execution.

What Truly Makes Content Memorable?
Over the past decade, content production has undergone a radical transformation: we have shifted from creating videos designed for people to producing content optimized for algorithms. Today, platforms and artificial intelligence influence every aspect of communication, leading brands and agencies to sacrifice quality and value in favor of immediate performance metrics. In this talk, we will explore the delicate balance between creativity, technology, and strategy, answering a crucial question: what truly makes content memorable? We will discuss how to return to content marketing based on real value for the user, capable of creating impact and connection without succumbing to the fleeting logic of engagement for its own sake. This speech is designed for marketers, brand managers, and content creators who want to rethink their content strategies, rediscovering the value of creativity and authentic storytelling in a data-driven era. Through concrete examples, industry insights, and ethical reflection, we will learn how to design content that leaves a lasting impression, going beyond vanity metrics.

Empathy vs. AI: The Tactical Skills That Make You Irreplaceable in an AI-Driven PPC World
When a top-performing PPC account was on the verge of being shut down but ultimately wasn’t, it wasn’t the data that made the difference; it was a conversation. Does this sound familiar?
In a world where AI handles the “how,” this talk is about the “why” only you can answer. Based on a decade of real PPC stories and practical tools, we’ll unpack the human skills that still move budgets, teams, and results. From conflict management to data storytelling and cross-team influence, you’ll leave more intelligent, sharper, and irreplaceable than ever.

How AI is Transforming YouTube in 2025: What Creators (and Viewers) Need to Know
AI is drastically reshaping YouTube's landscape in 2025, with talking head videos suffering as barriers to entry plummet. Script writing that once took two days now takes just one hour with AI like Claude, flooding the market with high-quality content. Soon, AI avatars will become indistinguishable from humans, enabling creators to produce thousands of videos daily. In this presentation, Mike Dee gives actionable tips on how creators can pivot to survive this unprecedented transformation and how viewers can spot the difference between authentic human content and AI-generated videos before it becomes much harder!

The Future of Travel in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Travel has always been a deeply human act—driven by curiosity, instinct, and emotion. It’s through travel that we test ourselves, make choices, discover who we are, and decide where we want to go. Artificial Intelligence increasingly searches for us, inspires us, suggests, translates, guides, books, photographs, and reviews… often before we even realize we need it. The journey, once a lived experience, now risks becoming an automated process. So the question is no longer just about tourism, but something deeper: Are we still choosing? Or are we getting used to being chosen? In an age where technology no longer merely assists us but begins to anticipate us, it's time to pause and reflect—not only on what it means to travel, but also on what it means to decide, explore, and live. Let’s uncover together the opportunities and paradoxes of AI-enhanced tourism.

Who Really Tells Your Brand Story? Spoiler: It’s Not You
No matter how much you try, study, and plan every detail of your brand, there will always be someone outside your company telling your story for you — and they’ll do it their own way. In the world of retail and distribution, it’s often other players — stores, store managers, agents, promoters — who speak about your brand. With their own words, content, and style. The problem? The audience listens to them. This talk explores the flaws and strengths of a fragmented communication model: how it originates, how it evolves, and — most importantly — how we can turn it from a weakness into a strategic asset. The solution isn’t about control, but about consciously choosing where to let go.

Predictive Analysis of Creatives: Data at the Service of Performance
How can we provide clients with reliable, objective insights to help them optimize their digital content? To ensure that creatives are effective for social media promotion, we can apply predictive analysis using artificial intelligence tools — interpreted by social advertising specialists. Managing the creation of creative assets while balancing the technical requirements of platforms with the aesthetic and branding needs of companies is possible, as long as we let data — not gut feeling — guide the process. We'll take a look at some example cases together.

Following Trends Is Not a Strategy. Or Maybe It Is
In digital, strategy and tactics constantly influence and blend into each other. A strategic idea can inspire tactical actions, while a successful tactic can redefine the strategic vision. But beware: confusing the two is risky. In the fast-paced world of trends and quick fixes, it’s easy to lose balance and mistake reactivity for planning. In this talk, you’ll discover how to recognize the boundary between them and how to use tactics without betraying your strategy. Or maybe not.

The Blurring Line Between Discovery and Search — and How Companies Can Leverage It
Today’s buying journeys—whether completed online or in physical stores—rely on two key moments: discovery and search. Discovery is about surprising shoppers with products they didn’t even know they wanted. Search helps customers find products they already know they want. However, with evolving tools and increasingly conversational search experiences, the boundary between discovery and search is becoming blurred, sometimes leading to the “messy middle” effect described by Google. At the same time, this creates new opportunities for brands willing to innovate with a balanced mix crucial for e-commerce success. How can brands and retailers strike the right balance between these two? How can search evolve from a purely functional tool for finding what’s needed to a functional driver that also inspires and sparks discovery? Drawing from practical case studies of well-known and emerging brands, this talk will offer guidelines and actionable strategies to harness these synergies and gain a competitive edge.

Driving Intelligence: a benchmark for AGI
In this talk, I undertake a dive into two ostensibly unrelated—and potentially profoundly consequential—technological developments of the twenty-first century: Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). AVs are designed to navigate complex real-world environments without human intervention, while AGI represents a form of Artificial Intelligence (AI) endowed with human-level cognitive abilities. I do this specifically because I advocate that progress towards full vehicular autonomy stands as a novel and precise benchmark of humanity’s progress towards AGI.

Rich AI, Poor AI: Use Cases, Practical Examples, and Proven Methods on How to Use (and How Not to Use) Artificial Intelligence Systems for Data Analysis

E-commerce: The Business of Complexity (and Those Who Turn It Into Complication)
Thanks to the rise of the SaaS model—pioneered by Shopify—it’s no longer necessary to complicate things to build even complex e-commerce projects. You can tackle projects with varying degrees of complexity without adding unnecessary layers. Agencies no longer need to chase artificial complexity to justify the margins they were used to with “complicated by nature” systems. Today, it’s possible to build solid, scalable, and high-performing projects that free up the client’s budget for what really matters: investing in the business, not technical maintenance. However, those adopting the SaaS model must avoid a strategic mistake: replicating old logics that tie clients to problems the cloud was supposed to solve.

GenUI, and the Evolving Role of Designers
A major shift is on the horizon for UX & UI design. Emerging technologies like Generative UI and zeroUI will soon move interfaces beyond static designs—creating AI-driven, real-time experiences that adapt to users and their needs. From screens to voice interfaces, AR, and beyond, the way we interact with technology is about to change dramatically. So, what does this mean for designers and businesses? While AI is poised to take on tasks like interface generation and A/B testing, designers will need to evolve—focusing on strategy, creativity, user empathy, and ethical considerations. Meanwhile, businesses must start to adopt their workflows to stay ahead of the curve. This talk will explore how these technologies are already being used, what’s coming next, and how companies can start integrating them across different service touchpoints. It will also dive into how designers can begin designing, testing, and validating such solutions—ensuring they enhance experiences rather than overcomplicate them.

Strategic Thinking: humans who think and machines that do (not the other way around)
In a complex and automated world, the true value of the human being lies in strategic thinking. Until now, we didn’t have time to think because it was necessary to do, produce, and be present before being consistent. Today, with activities automated by technology and AI, we have the time to reflect on what, how, and why to do things. This talk presents the methodology, analyses, and tools to understand how to create, define, and execute a business strategy—also leveraging AI.

0-Click SEO: Leveraging Google Visibility as a Branding Tool
Google’s SERPs have evolved into an information distribution ecosystem designed to satisfy user intent without requiring a click. The rise of “Zero-Click SERPs” is no accident—it results from deliberate algorithmic changes favoring direct answers, AI-generated summaries, and platform-native content. Success in this environment demands a strategic shift from traditional SEO tactics to advanced, technically sound approaches aligned with Google’s machine learning models, entity-based search, and intent mapping. The goal is to maximize visibility across as many Google Search Journeys as possible and leverage this visibility to amplify brand recognition and presence.

The Code of Trust: The Invisible Power of Neuropositioning for Unbreakable Connections
The true value of a brand is not measured by market share, but by its ability to root itself in the consumer’s mind as an instinctive choice: it is no longer enough to communicate trust — you must embody it. With a scientific approach, we will see how to build narratives capable of bypassing skepticism and redefining positioning: we are not just building a brand, but creating a trust trigger.

Generative AI & Content for SMEs: From Pillar Content to Conversational Content
AI is transforming the way people fulfill their informational needs, search, choose, buy, and interact with brands — both large and small. For SMEs, it’s not just about “using AI to create content,” but about redesigning their content strategy in a landscape where conversational formats, real-time interactions, and personalization are replacing the traditional model of structured, SEO-oriented, and long-term planned content (such as pillar content). In this session, we’ll explore the key steps to update your content strategy in order to effectively engage with emerging touchpoints such as chatbots, AI-generated overviews in traditional search engines, ChatGPT & similar platforms — where dynamic, real-time "content flows" dominate.

Video Thinking: Design Like a Designer, Communicate Like a Creator
From the Munari method to TikTok: create videos that are beautiful, useful, and functional—videos that truly do it all. In a world where everyone makes videos, few actually design them. This talk proposes a paradigm shift: think of video content as a design object—beautiful, useful, and functional—capable of solving communication problems, capturing attention, building trust, being discoverable… and yes, also selling. Starting from Bruno Munari’s method and moving to the logic of digital creators, we’ll explore how to apply visual and narrative design principles to craft high-impact, memorable content. This speech is for content creators, marketing team leaders, or anyone wanting to understand how to use video as a strategic lever, not just decoration. Because today, the winner isn’t the loudest voice—but the best-designed message.

The Zen of AI
AI is rapidly transitioning from a future concept to a mainstream reality, fundamentally changing how we live, work, and connect. My work with AI at Google gives me a firsthand view of this major shift. Yet, my grasp of its profound effects is also deeply influenced by my personal quest for a more meaningful life, which encompasses Zen as well as the grounding practices of music, movement, and meditation. Through my integrated practice of presence and self-awareness – a transformative journey that empowered me to overcome many internal battles – I ultimately came to understand their crucial importance, a realization that speaks to a key challenge of our time: As screens and algorithms increasingly shape our realities, how do we stay anchored in ourselves and actively nurture our wellbeing? And as AI becomes an ever-growing part of our world, what fundamental ethical guidelines should steer this powerful technology to ensure it enhances, rather than diminishes, our human experience This isn't a talk about fearing AI; it's about gaining a clear-eyed perspective. We need to see AI for what it is: a powerful technology built on probabilistic models, essentially a mirror reflecting our own cognitive frameworks and, at times, our cognitive biases. To better understand this dynamic, I've been exploring insights from seemingly different domains: the age-old wisdom of Buddhism and the counterintuitive principles of quantum physics. Both, in their own way, offer perspectives on interconnectedness and the dynamic nature of reality – concepts that I believe have surprising relevance to our relationship with AI. Ultimately, this isn't just a technical discussion. It's a human one. It's about how we find our footing, our sense of balance, a kind of "Zen" in this rapidly evolving AI landscape. It's about fostering intentionality and presence so that these technologies truly serve to enhance our well-being, rather than inadvertently diminishing our sense of self. Let's explore how we can navigate this future with a combination of informed curiosity and a strong connection to our authentic selves, guiding our way ethically in the future of AI.

Digital is no longer your ‘shortcut’: it’s time for strategy, not just testing
It’s time to abandon the illusion of digital as a quick-fix tactic. Digital advertising is a vast and hyper-competitive ecosystem where the brand is the true driver. It’s no longer just a tool for direct performance but a strategic pillar for communication. From Connected TV (CTV) to Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), every digital touchpoint influences the customer journey. Don’t relegate it to mere testing. Don’t activate it last. Integrate it strategically by leveraging its cross-channel impact, measurable through advanced models like marketing mix modeling, and build a presence that goes far beyond a click or a single sale.

Dal Brand Ecosystem all'Hyper Brand.

Augmented Writing: Integrating Artificial Intelligence into the Human Creative Process
Artificial intelligence is an invention, not an innovation. Words matter — and according to the OECD, 95% of Italians do not reach the average level of literacy. AI is a revolution across all sectors, including our personal and professional lives. This talk explores how AI can be used as a collaborative tool in the creative process, while emphasizing the value of human cognitive writing. We’ll discuss strategies to filter the overwhelming amount of information available today by combining human and AI capabilities, with the goal of improving personal knowledge management and building a digital Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) system, useful in personal life, education, and professional contexts. The aim is to demonstrate how a balanced integration of organic and synthetic writing can lead to augmented writing, enhancing both creativity and communication effectiveness — with ourselves and with others.
Revolutionizing Media: AI-powered Voice Cloning and Face Swapping
The presentation explores recent advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science (DS) in AI generated audio (including voice cloning) and AI generated video (including face swapping). The presentation begins by providing some premises and definitions to frame what Generative AI is and how it "works" (e.g. LLM, deep learning) and to describe the main use cases in audio and video generation. In the first part, the impact of generative artificial intelligence on audio generation is analyzed. The focus is on voice cloning (opportunities, risks, applications) and highlighting best practices for properly managing AI-generated audios containing voice cloning. In the second part, the impact of generative artificial intelligence on video generation is analyzed. The focus is on face swapping (opportunities, risks, applications) and highlighting best practices to properly handle AI-generated videos containing face swapping.
