From June 13th to 15th, 2024, at BolognaFiere, WMF - We Make Future, the International Fair on Digital Innovation, AI, and Tech brings together the best of global innovation.
The Expo Area hosts thematic exhibition districts including those on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Startups, eSports, and Publishing, and welcomes exhibitors and entities from all over the world including tech market players, startups, institutional delegations, investment funds, companies offering cybersecurity services, web consulting, e-commerce, hosting, martech and marketing automation, IOT, VR, printing, HR and CMS, and much more: entities with which you can organize a rich agenda of business opportunities, with matching, B2B meetings, networking aperitifs, and much more. The best Artificial Intelligence solutions in a dedicated district thanks to the presence of Italian and international companies: they present products, software, services, and the latest innovations in AI.
Martech & E-Commerce District
Web Agencies, Tools and Services for E-commerce and leading digital players in an exhibition district present their solutions during the 3-day event.
Maker&Tech District
A space reserved for new technologies, robotics, drones and the most innovative products. Research institutes, Makers and innovative SMEs will be able to present their technology projects.

Teotronico and Robidone
Teotronico, the pianist robot, and Robidone, the environmentalist robot, were made using salvaged materials!
One Love Machine
One Love Machine, the band composed of robots made entirely of recycled metal materials.
First Lego League
At WMF, various FIRST® programs present in Italy were showcased. Artù is a Program Delivery partner for the FIRST® Tech Challenge and a Regional Partner for the FIRST® LEGO® League.
Metaglove, Animations CG and Exoskeletons
A glove that uses innovative quantum tracking technologies, CG animation systems and exoskeletons that can be worn on the human body.
Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) Technologies at WMF 2023
Below are the technologies exhibited at the IIT booth, that has been developed by the Unit for Visually Impaired People team, coordinated by Monica Gori.
All of these systems are designed to be used by visually impaired people, both adults and children.
ABBI
The smart bracelet
A CE-marked medical device that combines sounds and movements for rehabilitation and recovery of spatial and social interaction skills in visually impaired boys and girls.
Audio-Classes
An acoustic virtual reality system to study spatial memory in blind people
SoBu
An app with the same functionality as ABBI, but which can be installed on smartwatches and smartphones.
Webapp WeDraw
The learning suite
A tablet app developed in collaboration with the DeAgostini school that uses sound sensory stimuli to teach boys and girls with visual impairments.
TECH SHOWS AND PERFORMANCES
Every year at WMF, attendees can enjoy live demonstrations of prototypes, experimental AI tools, and software, and interact with innovative technological devices. In the past edition, there was a Jet Suit Flight display by Gravity, attendees could interact with Robot Sophia, the most advanced humanoid robot in the world, in the Exhibition Area, and there were also VR and AR experiences!

Among the thematic events found in the Expo Area is the Digital Job Fair, dedicated to professionals and companies in the Digital-Tech sector.
Inside, numerous initiatives are structured to facilitate the meeting between companies with open positions and professionals seeking employment.
