In the era of digital transformation, the video game industry is one of the largest in the world. In recent years, eSports have managed to break out of their niche and capture the attention of companies and investors, gathering a huge following of fans.

WMF, after having organized training sessions and activities on the subject in previous editions with the collaboration of institutions, universities, and professional gamers, will once again host the eSports & Gaming Fest: a celebration of electronic sports through initiatives dedicated to the sector and plenty of space to try out the latest innovations or take a trip down memory lane in the world of video games.

During the three-day WMF event, from June 24th to 26th, the eSports & Gaming Fest will be a dedicated celebration of the world of eSports and its protagonists: a true "village" where you can experience a unique journey through the history of video games, from the early experiments to the modern era.

Rewind the last edition

The last edition of WMF featured an area entirely dedicated to the world of gaming and esports!

Inside the Gamers Arena—a space spanning over 300sqm—attendees could test the latest industry technologies and play firsthand while meeting pro players and fellow enthusiasts.

The event also hosted the eSerie C Tournament Final, the official Lega Pro competition licensed by Electronic Arts. In addition to watching the final stages of the tournament, participants had access to official gaming stations to try the game for themselves.

For the second consecutive year, WMF exclusively hosted the FIDA WMF Club Challenge 2025, an international Drone Soccer competition. This esports discipline, developed by CAMTIC, uses drones in a gameplay style similar to Quidditch.
