WMF, after having organized training sessions and activities on the subject in previous editions with the collaboration of institutions, universities, and professional gamers, will once again host the eSports & Gaming Fest: a celebration of electronic sports through initiatives dedicated to the sector and plenty of space to try out the latest innovations or take a trip down memory lane in the world of video games.

During the three-day WMF event, from June 24th to 26th, the eSports & Gaming Fest will be a dedicated celebration of the world of eSports and its protagonists: a true "village" where you can experience a unique journey through the history of video games, from the early experiments to the modern era.

During the next edition of the WMF, the exclusive FIDA WMF Club Challenge 2026 of Drone Soccer will take place, an innovative esport featuring drones. In addition to watching the competition, you’ll have the chance to experience firsthand the thrill of an esport that resembles Quidditch from the famous Harry Potter books!

Competition Area

You will be able to watch live matches between professional Dronesoccer teams, who will be at BolognaFiere from 24 to 26 June: a unique show that returns for the second consecutive year exclusively at WMF!

Test Area

An area dedicated to WMF participants will be equipped, where you can personally test the innovative e-sport, led by the FIDA team, Federation of International Dronesoccer Association.
