Since its very first edition, WMF has promoted and celebrated culture in all its forms through numerous events and initiatives.

Among these is the Book Fair, an event dedicated to the publishing industry featuring a specialized exhibition space - the Book District, which over the years has hosted major publishers like Hoepli and Egea - alongside numerous activities for attendees, authors, and bookstores. The fair will also feature the Book Presentation Stage, a dedicated platform where authors can introduce their books to the audience at BolognaFiere while exploring topics related to Innovation and Web Marketing, such as Food, Tourism, Influencer Marketing, and Neuromarketing.

Notable past guests include Professor Nello Cristianini, world-renowned sociologist Manuel Castells, sociolinguist Vera Gheno, actor Totò Cascio, author Roberto Saviano, Paralympic athlete Roberto Zanda, journalist Francesco Giorgino, Sarah Kaplan (Director of the Institute for Gender and the Economy at the University of Toronto), and MIT research scientist Andrew McAfee.
