Since its first edition, the WMF has promoted and enhanced culture in all its forms through numerous events and initiatives.

Among these is the Book Fair, a fair aimed at the publishing world with a dedicated exhibition area - the Book District which over the years has hosted entities such as Hoepli and Egea - and numerous events aimed at participants, authors and bookshops. The Book Stage will also be active, a stage dedicated to authors who will be able to present their book to the public present at BolognaFiere, analyzing themes relating to the world of Innovation and Web Marketing such as Food, Tourism, Influencer Marketing and Neuromarketing.

Among the many guests of the past years are also the sociolinguist Vera Gheno and the actor Totò Cascio together with Roberto Saviano, the paralympic athlete Roberto Zanda, the journalist Francesco Giorgino, the director of the Institute for Gender and the Economy of the University of Toronto Sarah Kaplan and Andrew McAfee, researcher at MIT.

Also at the WMF 2025, scheduled at BolognaFiere from 4 to 6 June, we return to give space to books, to the world of publishing and to the many authors who every year feed the culture of the country.

The Mainstage was all this and much more. It is the symbolic meeting place for the WMF community. AI Ethics & Innovation

The AI Ethics & Innovation Stage at WMF 2025 hosted the official launch of Rethic.AI, the first Italian business network dedicated exclusively to promoting ethical, safe, and responsible AI.
During the morning session, the network’s goals, founding members, initial participating companies, and the visions of its Ethical Board were presented, along with a discussion on the current state of the art, challenges, and ethical opportunities in an era of industrial transformation accelerated by AI.
In the afternoon, we explored the network’s first research working groups focused on creating innovative frameworks to provide practical support for Italian companies. This was followed by success stories directly from market-leading companies, sharing how they are integrating ethics into their AI processes, products, and strategies with a focus on sustainable and responsible business.

Among the training courses of WMF 2025, some will be entirely dedicated to the world of publishing, to the presentation of books and to in-depth studies in the fields of Ethics, Information and Inclusion.

Signature copies

During the Book Fair there will also be signings and meetings with the authors. Participants will be able to meet the authors up close and discuss with them the works presented during the three days.

WMF is the International Fair on AI, Tech and Digital Innovation: in the exhibition area you will find the major players in the publishing market, with areas dedicated to B2B meetings and networking initiatives for professionals and companies.
