AI for Civil Engineering
Artificial intelligence has entered the world of construction and civil engineering not as a future promise, but as a transformation already underway: from structural design to material optimization, from computational BIM to infrastructure monitoring, all the way to reliability and safety assessment. This revolution, long foretold, now demands to be guided with competence, critical thinking, and vision. This stage brings together academia, the construction industry, and institutions for an afternoon to take stock of where we truly stand and where we are heading. The goal is not to celebrate technology, but to discuss honestly what AI can do today, what it cannot yet do, and the responsibilities—technical, regulatory, and ethical—that this transformation brings with it, while keeping the quality and safety of works at the center.

Beyond the Magic. From the “wow” demo to production: designing sustainable, controllable, and measurable AI agents
After the initial “wow” effect of demos, AI agents face their toughest challenge: production.Autonomy, reasoning, and tool calling promise powerful applications, but without proper control they can lead to high costs, latency, contextual noise, and unpredictable outcomes. This talk explores what happens when an agent moves from prototype to a real operational system. The journey starts from a concrete use case, highlighting the main bottlenecks: context overload, tool bloat, payload management, and web search. It also examines strategies to reduce context without sacrificing quality, guide tool usage effectively, and introduce budgeting logic. The focus is on designing lighter, more targeted, and more sustainable functions. The goal is not to limit the agent’s intelligence, but to provide it with a more controllable architecture. The session will also cover monitoring, automated quality controls, and future scenarios ranging from SLM + LLM systems to code execution.Because a sustainable AI agent is not improvised — it is built through deliberate design choices.

Teenagers, AI Chatbots, and Mental Health: Risks and New Perspectives
Globally, an increasing number of teenagers are using AI chatbots to seek mental health support. The risk, however, is that these tools may be perceived as perfect, real-time "substitutes" for professionals. This raises significant concerns, especially when chatbots provide advice that lacks medical-scientific foundations or is potentially harmful, without possessing a genuine understanding of the teenager's life experiences or fragile state.

Micro language models for distributed agents: efficiency, privacy, and sustainability
In the era of autonomous AI agents, relying solely on large language models (LLMs) can become inefficient. LLMs require costly infrastructure, consume significant amounts of energy, and are not well suited for edge devices. In addition, sending sensitive data to the cloud introduces latency, bandwidth costs, and privacy risks. This talk introduces small language models (SLMs): models with millions—rather than billions—of parameters, designed for specialized tasks. These models consume less energy, provide faster inference, and can run directly on edge or embedded devices. Thanks to techniques such as quantization, pruning, and efficient fine-tuning, SLMs make it possible to move intelligence from the cloud to the edge, reducing latency while protecting local data. I will present use cases where SLMs are integrated into distributed architectures, from collaborative robots to IoT devices and federated systems designed for privacy preservation. I will also compare costs and performance with LLM-based approaches, illustrate optimization techniques, and introduce a method for migrating agents from general-purpose LLMs to specialized SLMs, following insights from recent NVIDIA studies. The goal of this talk is to demonstrate that micro language models are not only powerful enough for most agentic AI functions, but also represent a more sustainable and cost-effective alternative to general-purpose models, enabling a more democratic and widely accessible AI ecosystem.

Using AI towards new medical breakthroughs: Building the (virtual) cell
The quest to extend human healthspan and decode the biological mechanisms of aging is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by an inflection point in artificial intelligence. We are transitioning from a slow, observational approach in longevity science to a highly predictive, generative paradigm. I will explore how the convergence of advanced AI architectures and massive biological datasets is not just accelerating discovery, but fundamentally altering our approach to aging, cellular senescence, and age-related disease. At the foundation of this revolution are groundbreaking advances in biomolecular modeling and structural prediction. When coupled with emerging, purpose-built foundation models for biology and medicine, researchers are gaining the ability to decode intricate epigenetic and proteomic signatures. This enables the rational design of novel geroprotectors, targeted therapeutics, and highly personalized interventions with unprecedented speed and precision. However, the next frontier in longevity medicine lies in the transition from static structural mapping to dynamic biological simulation. The development of "world models" for biology and fully realized "virtual cells" represents a paradigm shift for the field. By simulating complex cellular behaviors and tissue-level interactions in silico, these dynamic models allow us to safely and rapidly test millions of potential anti-aging interventions. They enable researchers to predict complex systemic responses, model the long-term cascade of cellular aging, and evaluate multi-drug regimens without the immediate need for decades-long clinical trials.

Do It For Me: When Agents Make the Decision
Between the customer’s desire and the right product, there is now a new player: the AI agent. It discovers, chooses, and purchases — alongside people, before people, for people. Agentic traffic has grown by 8,000% in one year. But these are not just numbers: 72% of customers want more immediate shopping experiences, guided by agents that compare, select, and filter out brands. Traditional SEO is no longer enough: brands must now be chosen both by users and by agents. While marketing is being reinvented externally, a new organizational model is emerging inside companies: the Frontier Firm — an organization where humans and agents collaborate, transforming ambition, ideas, and intelligence into new business models. Two parallel transformations that, together, are redefining competitive advantage in the agentic era.

AI & Business Transformation
From Digital Transformation to AI Transformation
Most organizations are still running digital transformation programs inside an operating model built for human limitations. They made existing processes faster and more visible, but the underlying structure - siloed roles, narrow specialization, and fragmented decision-making - remained largely unchanged.AI transformation is different. It doesn’t just accelerate work; it removes the constraints that made the old model necessary. When systems can hold and connect knowledge across domains that no human can master simultaneously, the old boundaries between functions and disciplines start to lose their purpose. Execution can be handled by agents. Human work shifts toward orchestration, judgment, and defining outcomes rather than performing tasks. This is not an efficiency story. It is an architectural one. Organizations that continue using AI primarily to reduce headcount or speed up existing processes will stay trapped in the logic of the past. Those that redesign how work is structured around what AI can now do will move from an economy of reduction to one of creation -discovering new possibilities instead of simply optimizing what already exists. The real transformation begins when leaders stop asking how AI can improve the current model, and start asking what the model should become.

Bringing AI into the Company: When Technology Must Adapt to the Business
There is a gap that many companies underestimate between a convincing demo and AI truly entering core processes. Fragmented data, unstructured documents, and real-world workflows put GenAI and agents to the test. The real breakthrough happens when we stop asking the company to adapt to the tool and instead build technology that models itself around the operational context. That is exactly where adoption becomes real and value becomes measurable.

From Vision to Reality: How Digital Health Became the Present
In this keynote, Roberto Ascione explores the evolution of a vision that, over three decades, has helped transform digital health as we know it today. Drawing on the ideas presented in his book “The Future of Health”, he unpacks how the belief that digital technology could make care more accessible, sustainable, and human became a roadmap for innovation. With AI now accelerating every dimension of healthcare, from clinical decision support to patient engagement, from drug discovery to digital therapeutics, the keynote offers a clear perspective on how this transformation has taken shape over time. He shares lessons on which visionary ideas endured, how course corrections proved necessary, and why the most human ambitions, such as empowering patients, restoring the doctor patient relationship, and democratizing access, have proven the most durable. This is not a keynote about what’s coming. It’s the story of what has already arrived and what it took to get here.

Beyond Red Teaming: Building a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework for conversational AI
As enterprises rush to deploy AI agents in customer-facing operations, most rely on one-time audits and manual testing. This approach offers limited coverage, surfaces problems only after the damage is done, and typically focuses on safety while ignoring accuracy, user experience, and operational efficiency. This session presents a practical framework for continuous AI monitoring and evaluation, drawn from deploying automated testing infrastructure across major European enterprises. Attendees will learn why point-in-time testing isn’t enough, how to implement live monitoring that catches failures before they become widespread, and what the EU AI Act actually requires in terms of ongoing oversight versus pre-deployment testing.

Your business is not your own. How to defend yourself against the power of platforms that can shut down an SME with a single click.
Small and medium-sized enterprises operate within digital ecosystems they do not control, developing a tangible dependency on major platforms over time. This presentation analyzes this structural dependency and the resulting power imbalance. Sudden account closures, withheld funds, opaque algorithms, and unanswered complaints produce immediate effects on turnover and business continuity. Hence, the examination of applicable regulations, their level of implementation, and the protective instruments currently available. A pragmatic intervention for those seeking to protect their business before someone else decides whether it may continue to exist.

Agentic Experience Architectures
Agentic Experience Architectures (AEA) shift AI from task-based automation to journey-structured, context-aware, adaptive intelligence. Agents are organized by user journeys, splitting into: Journey agents that guide intent and decisions, Utility agents that provide memory, retrieval, reasoning, and governance. AEA introduces a layered orchestration model — planner → orchestrators → routers → agents — enabling traceability, safety, and efficient multi-agent collaboration. It fits best where reasoning and user experience must co-evolve (copilots, analytics, Vertical Saas, healthcare, creative tools, enterprise platforms). Security becomes zero-trust, policy-bound, and identity-based across all stages. AEA uses shared state and intent schemas to synchronize reasoning and UX, allowing adaptive, explainable interfaces. With reusable templates, observability, and continuous learning loops, AEA significantly improves: latency, containment, trust, explainability, cost, and multi-agent yield.

From AI Hype to ROI: A Business Framework for Reliable AI Agents
The current landscape of AI technologies often feels like a Swiss Army knife: incredibly powerful, but business leaders are left guessing which tool to use for which problem. Furthermore, early enterprise attempts to deploy AI often rely on fragile, monolithic instructions that lead to unpredictable results, hallucinations, and high costs. This actionable session cuts through the hype to provide a practical, executive-level framework for building reliable AI solutions.First, we establish clear, strategic rules of thumb by walking through relatable enterprise scenarios, from field operations to executive data dashboards. We will demystify core AI architectures by focusing purely on their business utility: when to use AI for secure data retrieval, when to integrate it safely as hands within your existing enterprise systems, and when to deploy autonomous teams of agents to handle complex, multi-step workflows. Next, we introduce a paradigm shift in AI deployment: Agentic Skills. Instead of building unpredictable AI from scratch, attendees will learn how to implement modular, plug-and-play capabilities. These act as strict rulebooks and quality-assurance checkpoints, reducing errors and operational costs. Business leaders will leave this session equipped with the strategic clarity needed to stop experimenting with fragile AI and start deploying scalable, cost-effective solutions that drive tangible enterprise value without getting lost in the technical acronyms.

Voice as Data: AI for Extracting Clinical and Organizational Value in the Healthcare System
Voice is one of the richest and least explored sources of data in healthcare: not only a tool for communication, but a biomarker capable of reflecting patients' physical and mental health. Through Artificial Intelligence techniques applied to voice analysis, it is now possible to transform speech into actionable insights at both a clinical level (early diagnosis, monitoring of neurological and respiratory diseases, psychological support) and an organizational level (optimization of triage flows, contact center interactions, automation of CUP/booking processes). The case study will show how integrating voice analysis AI models within digital healthcare ecosystems can:Improve the quality of care through predictive signals hidden in the voice.Enhance booking and support systems (CUP and call centers) with voice AI tools to reduce operational workloads.Provide new population metrics for public health (Population Health Management).

The Agent Needs a Product. What changes when agents start using your software
Agents are becoming a new kind of user. They read docs, call tools, run commands, inspect state, and act on someone’s behalf. That changes how software should be built. Using examples from Codex and OpenAI’s plugin ecosystem, Corey Ching will show how to make products useful to agents: when to reach for a skill, MCP server, app, CLI, or a focused combination. The best agent experiences provide the right capabilities that give the agent the missing piece it needs to finish the job.

AI Decisioning: The Missing Layer Between Data and Activation
Modern marketing stacks are rich in data and increasingly powered by machine learning, but a critical layer is often missing: decisioning. This talk introduces AI Decisioning as a structured approach to bridging the gap between predictive models and marketing execution. By combining first-party data, predictive signals (such as customer value and intent), and decision logic, organizations can automate key marketing actions across channels. We will propose a clear framework to understand how data, predictions, decisions, and activation systems interact, along with practical examples of how this approach improves efficiency, reduces wasted spend, and drives higher-quality outcomes.

Professionale e Ispirazionale (Ideale per il programma ufficiale) Title: Are you confusing the means with the end? The heart of hospitality is human—AI is "only" a tool. Real stories from those making it happen
In a world that moves at breakneck speed, time has become a luxury. From this perspective, new technologies are tools that help us reclaim it. Those working in the hotel industry know it well: a significant portion of daily work is spent answering the same questions or performing repetitive, low-value tasks. In every hotel, valuable resources are stuck in these routines. Today, AI Assistants can handle these interactions automatically and with great efficiency. Innovation in hospitality is not just about technology; it’s about how hoteliers and their teams choose to use their time. In this session, we will share how hospitality entrepreneurs are reinvesting the time gained through AI to create real added value: human growth, operational efficiency, stronger guest relationships, better teamwork, greater authenticity, and more sustainable working conditions (meaning staff stay longer!).

The AI-Augmented Strategist: How AI is Redesigning Strategy
Generative AI is changing the strategist’s work more profoundly than it appears. It’s not just about speed; it’s about changing how we think, explore, and decide. This session explores how AI transforms every stage of marketing and communication strategy—from research to insight, from concept to prototyping—and why the real leap isn’t just using the tools, but rethinking the process itself. We will explore what happens when the strategist stops searching for answers and starts asking better questions; when an idea can be tested the moment it is imagined; and when the boundary between thinking and producing finally dissolves.

Reprogramming Work in the Age of AI: Between Synthetic Collaborators, Epistemic Crisis, and New Meta-Skills
AI is redefining the way we work: 6 out of 10 individuals already perceive it as a collaborator. Phenomena such as sycophancy, epistemic relativism, and linguistic shifts demonstrate the extent of our exposure to new cognitive fragilities. Agentic Moment of Truth: the era in which AI decides with and for the consumer
AI is not just changing how we search for products. It is redefining who we are as consumers and who brands must become to exist in this new world. P&G gave us the First Moment of Truth (the shelf). Google gave us the Zero Moment of Truth (search). Now, we are in the Agentic Moment of Truth: the moment when AI surfaces needs the consumer didn't even know they had, builds a narrative around the choice, and returns 3-5 options. Anyone who doesn’t appear in those 3-5 is simply absent. The Agentic Moment of Truth is not about search; it’s about discovery. The consumer delegates to AI not just the selection of options, but the very definition of the need. This talk presents the results of the first systematic Italian research—combining quantitative data, qualitative interviews, and focus groups—to begin understanding this phenomenon in its entirety.

The objective of this speech is to provide a theoretical and scientific framework for telerehabilitation, illustrating its operating principles, delivery models, and the main evidence available in literature, which demonstrates how remote rehabilitation pathways can guarantee continuity of care, accessibility, and outcomes comparable to traditional rehabilitation across various clinical fields. The presentation will analyze the applications of telerehabilitation in major rehabilitative pathologies, focusing on neurological fields and highlighting the role of digital technologies, virtual reality, and robotic devices in improving therapeutic adherence, treatment customization, and functional outcomes. Furthermore, it will illustrate a corporate organizational model (AUSL Bologna and IRCCS ISNB) for the large-scale implementation of telerehabilitation, describing clinical-assistance processes, the integration between hospital and home settings, technological and professional requirements, as well as economic sustainability models and reimbursement mechanisms within the healthcare context. Concrete examples of implementation and technological innovation will be presented, with specific reference to PNC/PNRR-funded projects (won as Principal Investigator - PI) that integrate robotics and virtual reality into telerehabilitation, enabling more intensive, personalized, and engaging home-based treatments. Finally, the speech will highlight the future perspectives of digital rehabilitation, discussing opportunities, current limitations regarding standardization, security, and engagement, and the organizational and cultural challenges for the systemic adoption of these innovative models within healthcare systems.

Building AI for business travel: when “I’m leaving tomorrow” becomes an obstetric problem
Umberto Ghio, CTO of SIAS, one of Italy’s leading technology companies in the business travel sector, will present NORA AI, an intelligent agent developed when the concept of AI agents was still in its early stages. For years, SIAP has worked with some of the most important Travel Management Companies and business travel operators in Italy, developing platforms that manage complex booking processes, corporate policies, and business travel operations. NORA was born from a real industry need: simplifying and automating the management of corporate travel requests. During the talk, Umberto will share the development journey of the agent — from early misunderstandings in natural language processing to surprising capabilities, such as interpreting images and ambiguous user requests. Today, NORA is already used by international TMCs and companies across Europe, where it supports travel managers and operators in handling travel requests while ensuring compliance with corporate policies. The session will explore what it truly means to bring an AI agent from theory into real-world production, concluding with a broader reflection on the future: if intelligent agents become everyday work companions, how can we design effective collaboration between human and artificial intelligence? A practical story about how agentic AI is already transforming the business travel industry.

How I built my own intelligent Robot Arm from Scratch
Are you tired of the same old AI, LLM, buzzword sessions and wondering if there is still anything new and cool out there we can do with AI? Do you crave an exciting, slightly ridiculous project that's just a lot of fun - while also learning about a whole new field with lots of promise? Don't miss this session! Physical AI is about bringing together all the amazing breakthroughs (yes, like large language models) into the fields of robotics and embedded systems. We can make autonomous robots and systems that can generate their own movement instructions and evolve, without having to painstakingly define all the complex code or even tiny physics-engine implementations to get going. But first - we need to build actual robots! As someone coming from the data science field - this may sound like a bit of a leap. However, with a "I'm sure it can't be that hard" attitude, a bunch of electronics components, and an uncontainable enthusiasm - I set out to do just that. I will share the story of building my own Robot Arm from 0 to an incrementally more complex prototype, and how I started giving it some "AI superpowers", and what's next in this exciting field!

AI-Enhanced Threat Modeling: How to Reduce the Cognitive Load of a Security Architect Without Relinquishing Control
This talk presents the blueprint of a system based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and LLMs designed to accelerate threat modeling activities. The objective is to create a "cybersec tactical droid" that assists the security architect by processing large volumes of input—such as documentation, configurations, diagrams, and code—transforming them into an evidence map. Utilizing a predefined set of questions or "investigative rules" (STRIDE/PASTA/DREAD) mapped to NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks, the assistant proposes the queries most pertinent to the context represented by the ingested documentation. Depending on the operational mode, the security architect may choose to utilize the question list in a traditional investigative manner or delegate the generation and autonomous execution of investigative prompts to the cybersec tactical droid. Fortunately, the Death Star engineers lacked this droid model; otherwise, they would have identified a small thermal exhaust port leading directly to the reactor core.

From Insight to Action in 90 Seconds: The future of digital marketing for eCommerce
What if your store could wake up every morning, read everything—customer sentiment, competitor ads, cohort trends, and ad performance: identify the single most profitable action available, and hand you a ready-to-approve brief? That's not a vision. It's already being built. Valentin Radu, Founder of Omniconvert, walks you through the architecture of an autonomous growth platform that replaces the Monday morning meeting: how AI agents ingest five data layers simultaneously, surface True Profit signals instead of vanity metrics, and generate executable strategy.

The human side of AI: shaping the future of HR
In the context of an increasingly rapid digital transformation, BNL BNP Paribas and Humans.tech take the We Make Future stage to share a concrete reflection on how artificial intelligence can become a tool for authentic innovation, capable of enhancing people, relationships, and corporate culture. During the speech, Alessandro Lucarelli (Data Platform Product Owner - BNL BNP Paribas) and Manuel Fontana (Product Lead & Senior Frontend Engineer - Humans.tech) will share the journey that led to the development of BNL BNP Paribas's new AI avatar in the Human Resources field: an innovative solution designed to redefine Recruiting and Employer Branding experiences by creating more engaging, innovative, and memorable ways to interact with talent and the younger generations. This stems from a drive to reinvent standard pathways and processes through AI solutions developed in collaboration with specialized technology partners like Humans.tech, reminding us that AI does not replace people, but empowers them. All of this takes place within a sector where trust, responsibility, and data management are pivotal. For this reason, the use of new technologies is built on three strategic pillars: data protection, data governance, and collaborative intelligence. This approach transforms AI from a mere tech trend into a true operating model capable of combining innovation, security, and a people-centric approach.

3 Agents, 60% Less Grunt Work: AI Agent in Action Across the Supply Chain
Supply chain teams spend countless hours on weekly reporting, transfer planning, and answering repetitive questions — high-frequency, low-value work that drains time and energy. We tackled these pain points with 3 purpose-built AI Agents: one auto-generates supply chain weekly reports, compressing hours of data collection and writing into minutes; another simulates transfer plans, rapidly producing multiple scenarios for decision-making; and a third serves as an always-on supply chain assistant, handling routine inquiries that once flooded inboxes. In this talk, I'll break down the design logic, implementation journey, and real-world results of each Agent — giving you a replicable playbook for bringing AI Agents into your own supply chain operations.

Implementation of a Digital Home Care Network for Monitoring Vitamin K Antagonist Therapy: The INR PoCT Network in the Bologna Metropolitan Area
The project involved the implementation of a digital home care network for monitoring anticoagulant therapy with vitamin K antagonists (VKAs), developed in the metropolitan area of Bologna. These therapies, which are essential for preventing thromboembolic complications, require constant monitoring of the INR (International Normalized Ratio), a key parameter to ensure the treatment's efficacy and safety, particularly in elderly and frail patients. To meet this need, an innovative model based on Point of Care Testing (PoCT) was introduced, allowing the test to be performed directly at the patient's home. Nurses perform capillary blood sampling and analyze the sample using portable devices, obtaining rapid and reliable results comparable to those of a central laboratory. The system is supported by an integrated digital platform that connects local services with the laboratory and clinicians. Data is collected and managed in real time, and results undergo automatic validation processes using algorithms, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. The digital report is then made available to the physician, who can intervene promptly to adjust the therapy and schedule any subsequent checks. To date, the network involves numerous home care units and a large number of patients, with thousands of tests performed each year. One of the main advantages of this model is the significant reduction in turnaround time: from several hours required by the traditional model to just a few minutes with the home-based system. This translates into more efficient therapy management and a reduction in hospital admissions. Furthermore, the system ensures full traceability of the process, reducing the risk of pre-analytical errors and improving the overall safety of the diagnostic pathway. In conclusion, this experience demonstrates how the integration of digital technology and local healthcare can transform the management of chronic diseases, making care more accessible, timely, and patient-centered, with concrete benefits for both citizens and the healthcare system.

The nonprofit sector represents a vast and underutilized market: how to penetrate it through effective partnerships.
The nonprofit sector is a massive market, yet remains largely untapped by the profit-driven world: the objective is not merely "charity," but the creation of authentic value. In this presentation, I will demonstrate why it is currently advantageous for companies to collaborate with nonprofit organizations and how to do so without descending into superficial Corporate Social Responsibility. We will examine partnership models, measurable objectives, common pitfalls (which erode both reputation and budget), and an operational checklist for initiating credible, purposeful, and sustainable collaborations.

Why Most Scaled Content Fails: A Framework for AI, Trust & SEO at Enterprise Scale
Scaling content with AI has made production faster — but also easier to get wrong. At enterprise scale, most automated content fails: it becomes generic, lacks differentiation, and gradually erodes trust, impacting both SEO performance and user value. In this session, I will present a practical framework to identify, fix, and prevent low-value content at scale, based on real-world application in a large European product platform. You will learn: Why most scaled content fails (and how to recognize early warning signals) How to decide what can be automated vs what must remain human How to design scalable content features that create real value (pros & cons, Q&A, expertise signals) How to combine AI, editorial rules, and data feedback loops into a controlled system How to measure content usefulness beyond traffic with actionable KPIs This is not about producing more content — but about building a system that scales quality, trust, and long-term SEO performance.

From Billable Hours to Outcomes: Building Agent Practices That Actually Make Money
The enterprise applications services industry is facing its most significant business model disruption in decades. McKinsey now earns 20–25% of global fees from outcome-based pricing. They’ve deployed approximately 12,000 AI agents internally and shrunk typical project teams from 14+ consultants to 2–3 consultants plus AI agents. Meanwhile, 42% of companies abandoned most AI initiatives in 2025, and the average enterprise scrapped 46% of AI pilots before production. This speech delivers a practitioner’s playbook for system integrators building AI agent practices that actually make money. Drawing from a decade of enterprise software experience across multiple continents and ecosystems, the speaker introduces the Culture–Context–Code framework and a realistic 90-day sprint to first agent in production, followed by a 9-month transformation roadmap. Attendees will leave with a concrete operating model, specific pricing structures with real numbers, a step-by-step execution timeline, and a clear understanding of how to navigate the EU AI Act, DORA, and NIS2 regulatory landscape while building AI agent practices.

Training with AI: how conversational simulators are truly transforming learning.
What happens when we use AI to truly train people on real work situations? In this session, we’ll explore how conversational simulators and AI tutors are transforming learning from content to be consumed into experiences to be lived: managers practicing difficult feedback conversations, sales teams handling complex negotiations, and operators navigating critical situations in a safe environment. Through real cases and practical examples, we will examine: how to design learning experiences based on simulation and dialogue; what measurable impact they generate on performance, engagement, and on-the-job transfer; and how AI is radically reshaping the role of training—from content delivery to the design of practice environments. We will also look at what is already working in organizations today, the results being achieved, and what, in the coming months, will change the way learning is designed and experienced.

Contextual Intelligence: People, Culture, and Sovereignty in the AI Era
AI is evolving rapidly: from support technology to an agent capable of analyzing, designing, and acting within processes. In this scenario, the value of people is transforming: the importance of skills, the ability to interpret change, and leadership capable of giving direction, meaning, and responsibility to innovation are growing. Our role increasingly becomes one of orchestrating skills, data, technologies, and responsibilities, contributing to the governance of decisions augmented by artificial intelligence. The quality of this transformation also depends on the context in which AI operates: the culture it reflects, the values it incorporates, the data it is trained on, the infrastructures and platforms it relies on, and the rules that govern it. This is why digital sovereignty is the ability to choose and build a safe, reliable AI that truly serves people, businesses, and the national system.Let's explore the new role of leadership in the age of agentic AI: guiding innovation, developing skills, preserving human judgment, and moving from theory to action. Because governing AI means understanding it, experimenting with it, and transforming it into sustainable solutions, with a conscious, courageous, and hands-on approach.

Modera: Antonio Pamieri

European marketplaces 2026: how brands can regain control amid algorithms, resellers, and new Global competitors
Amazon, Zalando, Miravia, Temu: the European marketplace landscape has become fragmented. Resellers are eroding margins and controlling the Buy Box instead of brands. This speech analyzes the main European marketplaces, explains visibility and pricing algorithms, and provides a multichannel framework in which the brand sets the rules. Participants will map their competitive positioning, identify algorithmic levers, and build a channel policy to reduce reseller activity and maximize margins.

The Role of Professional Associations in Technological Innovation
To illustrate how Professional Associations—and specifically ours, a young organization representing 19 different health professions—can serve as a crucial institutional driver for technological innovation. This impact spans training, ethics, deontology, and the representation of the specific expertise of numerous professionals. Today, and even more so tomorrow, these professionals are equipped to meet the population's healthcare needs by leveraging everything that technology and innovation currently offer and will provide in the future.

Digital health does not take off on its own: what is really needed to make it work
Digital health promises a lot, but it often fails to generate real impact. The problem is not only technological: it is also methodological, educational, and cultural. Drawing from concrete experiences in healthcare implementation and training, I will analyze what happens when complex digital systems are introduced. Through real-life examples, I will propose a practical model for transforming technology into clinical value.
From transactional e-commerce to agentic commerce: how Zalando is reinventing the discovery of fashion and beauty shopping online
The speech will focus on how Zalando is leveraging AI to transform online shopping: from AI-generated marketing content and predictive logistics to personal matchmaking and the conversational Zalando Assistant. The educational goal is to demonstrate how data, technology, and agentic AI can make the customer experience more personalized and efficient, opening new frontiers in the e-commerce and retail sectors.

SEO beyond Google: mastering the Social Search ecosystem between UGC algorithms and hybrid intents
While the world debates whether AI will kill SEO, a quieter and more immediate revolution has already reshaped user behavior: search has become fragmented.Today, the customer journey is a maze: a trend explodes on Instagram, gets validated through discussions on Reddit, influences searches on Google, and ends with an impulse purchase on TikTok. In this scenario, optimizing for a single platform is pure strategic myopia. In this talk, we will dismantle the concept of “siloed SEO” to embrace a strategy of Integrated Search Intelligence. You won’t see the usual vertical case study, but an operational framework born from months of technical testing across social algorithms and traditional search engines. We will explore how UGC (User Generated Content) signals influence ranking and how Google is becoming the “curator” of what happens on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. What you’ll take away:• Algorithmic mapping: how ranking signals differ between traditional SERPs and algorithmic feeds.• Hybrid keyword research: why traditional keyword research is failing and how to map “social queries.”• Contentlongevity: strategies to turn “ephemeral” content into indexable assets that generate traffic for months.

Why agents fail (and how design saves them)
Why does AI agent design fail? More often than not, the issue is not the technology itself, but the design behind it. Service Design provides a framework for building agents that truly work: journey mapping, touchpoint design, and integration into existing workflows. MCP servers represent a key infrastructural layer, enabling agents to connect with external data and services while unlocking new experiences that transform software into intelligent collaborators and establish more advanced interaction models. From service blueprint to production, the approach is systemic, combining design and development through tools such as Figma, Claude Code, Replit, and vibe coding. A real-world case study on the design of an AI agent will also be presented.

The Authenticity Paradox: Solving Fashion's Fit Crisis with GenAI
I've managed high-volume photoshoots across Asia. Traditional workflows break at scale. GenAI fundamentally changes this: shoot once, generate authentic variants across diverse bodies, regions, and contexts—eliminating the need for multiple shoots. The real margin killer isn't just production cost—it's returns from fit anxiety. This talk reveals how GenAI reduces shooting frequency while enabling authentic diversity, closing fashion's returns loop. It's not about replacing photographers with AI. It's about replacing repetitive shoots with intelligent content multiplication at scale through new systems.
