Silver Generation and inclusion in cultural policies. A new dignity with the project “24”

In lower Gallura, the municipality of Budoni is characterized by a recognizability linked to the large seaside flows in the high season months. However, the morphology and history of the area sees 24 hamlets on the fringes, inhabited mainly by a segment of over-65s, (latent) bearers of local tradition, of anecdotes about productions, linguistic minorities, ways of enjoying slow time. With the 24 project, the inhabitants of the hamlets become leading actors in the creation of community experiential tourism, nurture participatory planning appointments, and are at the forefront toward a positioning of the territory that brings their history closer to that of digital nomads in search of contexts untainted by mass superstructures.
