#SaveSSN: together to protect the National Healthcare Service.

Back in 2013, the GIMBE Foundation launched the "Save Our National Health Service (NHS)" campaign to raise awareness among decision makers, professionals and citizens about the need to put the NHS back at the center of public debate and the political agenda. But after 11 years we are actually sliding from an SSN established to protect a fundamental right to 21 regional health systems based on the laws of the free market. Universality, equality and fairness have been betrayed, with serious health and economic consequences for people. That is why the GIMBE Foundation launched the civic network #SalviamoSSN, to actively engage everyone in protecting and revitalizing the SSN.
