E3CI: the index of extreme weather events.

The index today provides support for the identification of areas affected by extreme weather events and a measure of their severity, constituting invaluable application support for companies. It can also be used by policy makers for choices related to weather-induced risk reduction and to spread awareness about climate change adaptation.
