Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Destinations

We need to start talking about inclusive and accessible tourist destinations but what are the new paradigms we need to address and what are the tools? The demographic change underway and a demographic trend that is becoming more and more relevant in our country poses new challenges and opportunities. It is therefore necessary to create the cultural preconditions so that in our society there is a different focus on the needs that these people manifest. Only with these changes will they be able to express all the value that the silver economy can offer. For decades, we have focused our attention on issues such as the removal of architectural barriers because we considered this a necessary action to enable independent living and social inclusion for people with disabilities. We will present analyses, case studies and reflections on which to build a discussion.
