Three-day of Tech-Show - Expo Area - B2B Meetings

At WMF 2023, the Future Show returned: an event entirely dedicated to the most futuristic technological and digital innovations. From June 15th to 17th at the Rimini Expo Centre, within the Expo Area of WMF - We Make Future, it was possible to experience the future hands-on.

Artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, virtual reality, and future mobility - all the technologies that will accompany us in the coming years were available together for an unparalleled experience in Italy and Europe.

The Jet Suit Flight display by Gravity, Robot Sophia, the world's most advanced humanoid robot, the inevitable VR projections, live demonstrations of prototypes, AI tools and software, interaction with still experimental technological devices, B2B meetings, and business matching with companies from all over the world, along with moments of pure spectacle - WMF brought together the technological future from around the globe!

After its Italian preview in 2022, the Gravity Jet Suit Flight display, the human flight system, returned to perform exclusively for the participants of WMF - We Make Future. This display brought the technologies of blockbuster superhero movies into reality, showcasing the incredible advancements in human flight.

An unique Co-host in the World

Robot Sophia, the world's most advanced humanoid combining Artificial Intelligence and robotics, made a comeback this year in the exceptional role of co-host on the Mainstage.

Throughout one of the three days, Robot Sophia co-hosted the schedule on the main stage alongside Cosmano Lombardo - CEO of Search On Media Group and the creator of WMF - showcasing the evolution of her Artificial Intelligence systems and her remarkable interaction capabilities with the guests.

Moreover, Sophia was present in the Expo Area of WMF, where curious visitors and enthusiasts had the opportunity to observe her up close and discover her finest details.

At WMF 2023 you discovered the future of entertainment, multimedia platforms, AI and immersive virtual worlds. New potential for the world of Cinema and entertainment also thanks to the presence of Rai Cinema and the added value of virtual reality.

Teotronico, the pianist robot, and Robidone, the environmentalist robot, with live music and lots of fun, were present in the WMF 2023 Expo Area. They are both made through the use of recycled materials!

At WMF you had the possibility to observe the new frontiers of autonomous driving: an ad-hoc track will be built on which cars developed by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and those of the University of Bologna competed!

The band One Love Machine, composed of robots made exclusively from recycled metal materials, was at the Future Show! Attention to sustainability and environmental protection become a captivating show that can surprise and entertain.

First Lego League

First Lego League

Innovative ways of learning and exploring STEM subjects thanks to a spin-off of First Lego League: at WMF it was possible to design and build autonomous robots and apply them to real-world problems of great ecological, economic and social interest.

Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) Technologies at WMF

At the IIT (Italian Institute of Technology) booth, visitors had the opportunity to explore the technologies developed by the team Unit for Visually Impaired People, coordinated by Monica Gori.

All these systems are designed to be used by people with visual impairments, both adults and children.

A CE-marked medical device that combines sounds and movements for rehabilitation and recovery of spatial and social interaction skills in visually impaired boys and girls.
